Interim Leader Named at Person Centered Services

BUFFALO, NY (October 5, 2022) – The Board of Managers of Person Centered Services has named Alicia Fellows, Chief Operating Officer, to lead the company on an interim basis, effective November 30, 2022.

After CEO Bridget Bartolone announced in August that she would be leaving the company before the end of the year, the Board worked to explore all opportunities for a change in leadership of the company, said Rhonda Frederick, President of the Board of Managers.

“The decision about succession of leadership is crucial, and we are approaching it with the utmost care and consideration,” said Frederick. “With that work still taking place, it became clear that there will be no final decisions made in time for Bridget’s departure on November 30. With Alicia in this interim role, we know the company is in terrific hands.”

Person Centered Services is a Care Coordination Organization/Health Home serving over 17,000 people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in 18 counties. Headquartered in Buffalo, the company employs over 750 people with a mission to connect people to the care, support, and opportunities that maximize their quality of life.

Fellows has been with the company since its inception in 2018, and prior to that helped develop the pilot program created to test the Care Coordination model eventually adopted. She has been in the field serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities for 23 years.

“The work I have done leading up to this role taught me firsthand the positive impact that holistic Care Coordination can have on improving lives,” Fellows said. “To lead Person Centered Services during this transition is an honor, and I am grateful to work with an incredible team to carry out our mission.”

Bartolone announced in August that she was leaving Person Centered Services to return to a role in business consulting.
