We’re excited to highlight a major accomplishment from someone we serve!

Jessica Price and her twin sister, Melissa, live in Wayland, NY. They both receive Care Coordination from Person Centered Services.

Driven to help her community, Jessica spends time volunteering at the Wayland and Cohocton libraries and is active in her church.

For the past eight years, Jessica has pursued a goal of reading 1,000 books. Due to health issues, it has taken her extra effort. She is unable to read while she is healing, resting, or being assessed, but always tries to when she can.

On December 23, 2023, Jessica proudly completed her 1,000th book: “Merry Christmas Davy!” by Brigitte Weninger & Eve Tharlet. Her Care Coordinator, Jennie Knox, was thrilled to celebrate this milestone.

Jennie is grateful to partner with the family. She is currently working to ensure the sisters can remain together in the future when communal living is needed. Jessica and Melissa’s mother is a wonderful advocate for her daughters, and Jennie loves working with her to make sure they have the support and opportunities they need.

We look forward to seeing Jessica reach her next goal and wonder how many more books she’ll read in another eight years!
