Team Member in Rochester Named Health Care Hero

Rochester Business Journal has selected Shameka Gilbert, Care Coordinator Supervisor, as a 2024 Health Care Heroes recipient.

The Rochester Business Journal’s Health Care Heroes awards recognize excellence, promote innovation and honor the efforts of organizations and individuals making a significant impact on the quality of health care in the Rochester area.

Shameka was honored for her tireless advocacy for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, particularly related to cases involving housing insecurity. Her work has made a life-changing impact and her leadership continues to help people we support in the Rochester area reach their potential.
