Jennifer Serwinowski had recently lost her mother to cancer just before Mother’s Day. Her Care Coordinator, Renee Heneberry, suggested they do a balloon release in her honor. Jennifer was very excited by the idea. She also wanted to release a balloon for her brother who had passed away the year before.
Renee was able to find environmentally-friendly balloons that were safe to send into the air. This month, Jennifer and Renee came together for the balloon launch alongside Jennifer’s fiancée, Jeffrey Eggleston, who also held a balloon in memory of his father.
Jennifer and Jeffrey wrote messages on the balloons to their loved ones and sent them into the sky. Renee was very grateful to be a part of this truly special and healing moment.
