Statement from CEO Alicia Fellows
Recent public remarks involving the R-word have shown us, once again, how powerful language can be in shaping our culture and community.
At Person Centered Services, we believe every individual deserves dignity and respect. Harmful language—including words that demean or marginalize—has no place in our society or our organization.
Recent public remarks involving the R-word have shown us, once again, how powerful language can be in shaping our culture and community.
Our mission is to connect people to the care, support and opportunities that maximize their quality of life. Our vision is a community where all people lead fulfilling lives. These principles guide us to create an environment where inclusion is non-negotiable.
We’re committed to building a culture that celebrates diversity and encourages understanding. We invite everyone in our community to join us in rejecting language that divides and embracing words that unite.
Our core values—People, Integrity, and Trust—inspire us to lead with empathy, act with honesty, and build trust in every interaction. Together, we can create a future where every voice is valued and every person feels heard.
Thank you for your advocacy and support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Sincerely,
