Voting is everyone’s right.

Make a plan to vote today!

It’s Your Right to Vote

Watch the video to learn about the importance of voting for people with disabilities from Joe Damiano of our Person Centered Services Member Advisory Board and Alan Venesky, Director of Community and Provider Relations.

As we get closer to the election of our representatives in local, state and federal governments, Person Centered Services reminds all U.S. citizens who are 18 years of age and older of their right and privilege to vote. New York State residents must register to vote by October 26, 2024.

Anyone with an intellectual and developmental disability who expresses a desire to vote should be supported to register to vote, identifying a plan for how and when they will vote, and making arrangements as needed for Election Day on November 5, 2024.
