Celebrating Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day
Person Centered Services enjoyed sponsoring, presenting, sharing resources and learning alongside community members at this year’s Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day conference!
The 38th Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day was held on May 28, 2026 at the Niagara Falls Convention Center. Hosted by the Developmental Disabilities Alliance of WNY (DDAWNY), Person Centered Services was proud to serve as a Photo Booth Sponsor for the event.
The conference was filled with inspiring speakers, meaningful workshops, great food, public recognitions, and opportunities to learn from community providers. Life advocate Jesi Stracham gave a motivational keynote address and New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) Commissioner Willow Baer delivered remarks.
Presenters from Person Centered Services included Associate Vice President of Clinical Services Operations Teri Bellaire, Learning & Development Director Erin McGee, and Member Relations Manager Craig Mennig. Member Advisory Board representatives Max Donatelli and BJ Stasio also offered insights into the art of advocacy.
