Jasmine Spence serves as both a Care Coordinator and Care Coordinator Ambassador in our Rochester offices. She helps train and support new Care Coordinators, while also empowering people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through her everyday work.
How long have you been with Person Centered Services?
I have been with Person Centered Services since November 3, 2019.
How did you first hear about our company?
I first heard about Person Centered Services from working in a residential setting where I attended Life Plan meetings and gave monthly updates to Care Coordinators.
What is your favorite thing about working at Person Centered Services?
My favorite thing that I enjoy about the work that I do at Person Centered Services is that it is meaningful. Many times I get the satisfaction of helping a family apply for a service they were nervous about in the beginning but that turned out to be a helpful service for them.
How does your work help Person Centered Services thrive?
I help Person Centered Services thrive because I work very diligently to connect people to services, educating them when needed and giving them the tools that maximize their quality of life. This aligns with Person Centered Services as a whole because these are what the company’s mission, vision, and values are.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work or what is one interesting fact people may not know about you?
I am an event planner in my spare time. I have planned children’s parties, conferences, baby showers and birthday parties. I enjoy planning events, creating my own center pieces and crafting.
