Israel “Izzy” Cruz is a long-time self-advocate based in Buffalo. For the past thirteen years, he has publicly worked to further the rights and visibility of people with disabilities in New York State. Izzy spent many years working for the Museum of Disabilities History and has more recently partnered with the Self-Advocacy Association of New York State, Inc. (SANYS).
