Employee Spotlight: Angela Spikes

Angela Spikes is a Batavia-based Care Coordinator who supports individuals in Genesee County. Her work helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities reach their potential, connecting them to the services they need to flourish.

How long have you been with Person Centered Services?

I have been with Person Centered Services since July 1, 2018.

How did you first hear about the company?

I heard about Person Centered Services while working as an Medicaid Service Coordinator prior to the transition to Care Coordination.

What is your favorite thing about working at Person Centered Services?

My favorite thing about working at Person Centered Services is being able to connect with and help people.

How does your work help Person Centered Services thrive?

I think that when the families and individuals we support know you genuinely care and are trying to assist them that helps to build trust and a positive image of the company.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work or what is one interesting fact people may not know about you?

I enjoy going to church and spending time with my grandchildren. I LOVE to learn languages and taught myself to read and print the Cyrillic script.
