Person Centered Services is thrilled to join Buffalo Business First and the Western New York community in recognizing Elisha Tomasello as one of Buffalo’s 40 Under 40 honorees. Tomasello is Vice President, Human Resources & Administrative Services at Person Centered Services.

Elisha’s academic and professional achievements, dedication to her career, and commitment to her community have landed her a much-deserved spot in the 40 Under 40 Class of 2018, which celebrates up-and-coming leaders in the region under the age of 40.

After graduating from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in industrial and labor relations, Elisha earned a Juris Doctorate with a concentration in labor and employment law from the State University of New York at Buffalo and is licensed to practice law in New York State. She also holds a graduate certificate from Harvard University in Managing Health Care Delivery.

Elisha has vast professional experience as an attorney and human resources professional, working with organizations prior to joining Person Centered Services including Catholic Health, Goldberg Segalla LLP, and Jaeckle Fleishcmann & Mugel LLP.

Most recently, she’s played a significant role on Person Centered Services’ executive team by creating and implementing an HR strategy as the new 700-employee organization was created from the ground up. As part of the executive team, Elisha oversaw the transition of around 600 care coordinators into the company overnight and helped hire a full corporate staff in a short time period.

Elisha is a member of the Board of Directors of the YMCA of WNY and serves on the Membership Committee. Utilizing her expertise in HR, she ensures that all departments of the YMCA are operating at the highest level and the organization is thriving. She also spends time volunteering at the YMCA Independent Health Branch, doing everything from working on membership initiatives to manning the front desk.

Elisha values the YMCA and wants the organization to continue to have a positive impact on children in underserved populations by providing them with opportunities such as summer camps and athletics.

Elisha has also been active in the WNY Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York. She’s spent many hours lobbying on behalf of women’s equality and rights.

Congratulations, Elisha, on all of your accomplishments thus far, including being honored in the 40 Under 40 Class of 2018!
